Fujiwara-Kyo (ancient Imperial capital of Japan)

I had a periodic health check up (breast cancer) at prefectural hospital last wednesday.
I had a palpation examination. It was so scary experience. Then I had a mammography examination,too. I keenly felt that daily health management is important.

There once was a Capital called "Fujiwara-kyo" here in Nara.
It was the Imperial capital of Japan for sixteen years,between 694 and 710.
It was located here in Yamato Province,having been moved from nearbiy Asuka.

Autumn Nara Sceneries

  

Today I took a lunch at Oyodo i Center.

This is "Teriyaki Chicken Ju".  "Ju" means boxed dishes.

It was very good

Persimmon trees.
In South Nara,we have heavy crop of persimmons every autumn.

Osaka referendum on May 17 -the way to the second Metropolitan city-

It's a close game.

I don't know which will win,supporter or opposite people.

My recent digital painting

Recently I'm drawing digital illustrations.
I took digital painting class (6 months course) at Osaka,Shinsaibashi from last November,
to brush up my digital art skill,
this class will end at the end of this month.
And in the last class,I will have to do a presentation of my drawings in front of other classmates.
I have to create a few more drawings until the presentation.
These days,I stay up all night to finish paintings for the presentation. It is tiresome..

What is "KABE-DON" ? And fascinating Valentine event at Japanese department store

"KABE-DON"  is one of the sole topic of conversation among young Japanese girls now.
What is "KABE-DON"?
Seeing is better than hearing.

This is KABE-DON,
guy is leaning over girl,pressing her against a wall,his hand slammed up on it.
Now every Jananese girl seems dreaming such situation with their favorite boys.

Some of the Japanese department store like "Daimaru" is now holding an interesting Valentine chocolates event for young women now.
They hire young good-looking guys,and make them guide shoppers,giving them perfect services.
These guys are specially chosen for this event,they all passed the special auditions.
And shoppers can take a memorial picture with their favorite guy.
When they take memorial photos,shoppers can request guys this "kabe-don" situation! (＞▽＜）

What an amusing event!
