It's the first time I hear this! Winter peonies! Now I really envy you! I love peonies and have some in my garden. The usual ones are blooming nicely but the shrub peonies are very sensitive (I still have 2 of these). Do you know that if you move them, they will not bloom for years?
@Traveling Hawk,Thank you,Traveling Hawk:)I seached that by internet,(cause I don't know very well about that) it says that September 20 - November is the best season to move peonies. it says that you should avoid other seasons,because peonies are very sensitive,like you said.
