Visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine at the beginning of the year 2016 (Kyoto)

 

On January 4,I visited Fushimi Inari Shurine in Kyoto.

There are so many people here!

I wonder if we can reach to the main shrine safely...

 

 

So many people!

Finally we gave up going to the main shrine...

These gates are famous "Senbon-Torii".

People are praying for the health,happiness of this year.

If you want to visit Fushimi-Inari, It might be better to avoid the beginning of the year.

Especially if you don't want to get involved in crowdedness!

If you visit here,you can't miss "passing through the gates".

It drives out the evil spirits.

Art Aquarium Castle at Nijo-Castle,Kyoto

I visited "Art Aquarium Castle" at Nijo-Castle,Kyoto last weekend.

This event invites us to fantasy world.

It is an excellent staging since kingyo aquariums emerge out of complete darkness.

This event is holding until Dec.14 (Mon)  from 5:00 pm.

 

Fujiwara-Kyo (ancient Imperial capital of Japan)

I had a periodic health check up (breast cancer) at prefectural hospital last wednesday.
I had a palpation examination. It was so scary experience. Then I had a mammography examination,too. I keenly felt that daily health management is important.

There once was a Capital called "Fujiwara-kyo" here in Nara.
It was the Imperial capital of Japan for sixteen years,between 694 and 710.
It was located here in Yamato Province,having been moved from nearbiy Asuka.

Autumn Nara Sceneries

  

Today I took a lunch at Oyodo i Center.

This is "Teriyaki Chicken Ju".  "Ju" means boxed dishes.

It was very good

 Autumn scenery at Asuka Village.

Persimmon trees.
In South Nara,we have heavy crop of persimmons every autumn.

Osaka referendum on May 17 -the way to the second Metropolitan city-

It's a close game.

I don't know which will win,supporter or opposite people.
